So....the "endurance maximizer" is to prepare yourself for the frustration of dealing with slower riders infront of you......and the "fat shredder" is how you train for arm pump.

Brilliant, I must say DW. Once again, you amaze with your tacticle prowess of being prepared.

Exciting race for sure, best one yet to watch for me.

Reed put a block pass on JS7. I am not so sure Reed did anything wrong. JS7 had time to slow and chose to ram. Maybe it's just the slow motion?

Unofficial score:

DW/Soup Nazi won again (31)
TDunn 2nd (27)
Yam7M 3rd (22)
09oneL 4th (20)
Jordan414 (16) - all 10 picks

IMO JS7 should not have left that door open. I am a JS7 fan, I think he has been good for our sport and does not seem to be a jerk. I am quickly becoming a REED fan. If you think it was a dirty move to block James, was it a dirty move of James to stand on Reed's bike so he could not immediately go?

Sorry Jordan, you can't catch a break but, since you are faster than most all of us it is good to see eat some crow.

Reed just moved up in my future picks.

I'll bet some factory teams are acknowledging they screwed up not giving Reed a ride - GO 22

Unless Reed was looking to square his turn off from the stands....it was an old school Matasiavich/Bradshaw move IMHO. Yes, I'll agree it was exciting......but Stewart didn't see Reed. That was not a viable line choice to actually make the corner....reed didn't face the exit of the corner until after Stewart hit him, which was a foot away from the hay bale."If I'm not gonna win, then we both won't."

Very good race though. Getting tired of the one line tracks tho....

Reed found another line :nener:

Stewie should not have left that door open and he would have done the same.

Yam7M and 09oneL disagree - that's weird :)

Again, IMO......its a sad day when fans of this sport begin giving riders a larger fan base for making moves that result in neither rider winning. When Stewart passed Choad, he had numerous chances to park him, but he waited until it was a clean shot. Choad just went for the take out move because he's not as fast. If we're going to reduce ourselves to rooting for aggressive take out moves, we might as well go root for "Black Bart" and his all black el camino at the local crash-Derby. That's not very liberal to cheer for take outs, Fred!??!

Sorry Fred.....there was no other line in that corner.....the door was not open....if that's the case, the entire track is an open door. The path that Choad took was to hit Stewart......if you think that it was a faster line, I think your blindly defending stupid riding. He lost the race. He lost points. That's dumb.

I'm not a fan of either of these guys......I like riders like Short, Dungey and Brayton....even Villopoto....who don't cater to the drama crap, work hard and keep to themselves.

When Choad's confidence approaches the level of his arrogance, he's tough to beat. Glad too see all of the players still at 100% and racing after 7 races in.

First I am becoming a Reed fan because he is an underdog whom obviously has the skills and the HART to compete - just like Rickey Bobby. Not at all because of that particular move.

Second when JS7 blocked Reed. Reed backed off just like Stewart could have, should have. Note that I am a JS7 fan, just calling what I saw. If you are ahead of the other rider it is your track/line period (look at the pictures and you will see Reed is ahead). - I am not alone here.

If JS had backed off, Reed would have made the corner IMO. Stew looked like he made sure Reed was going down. I am not reducing myself to anything. The block pass is one of the oldest moves there is. James chose to ram.

Third you forgot to mention Canard (class act too).

I know better than to engage you.......

Yep, you're right......it was Stewart that took out Reed. It was a brilliant and valiant move by the slower rider. Reeds line choice was outstanding, and the 8 feet that Stewart had to react (while on the gas in 3rd gear on a factory 450) was more than enough space to get on both binders and let him go. Their subsequent point loss to Villopoto and Dungey was due to Stewarts poor choice.

You're lucky that Jordan played the game this week......and, that makes it 3 for 4 for me!
