I am planning on getting to the track about 2pm or so. I should be able to get in for the qualifiers. Does anyone know for sure?
No offence to big James but, I would not be surprised if he pulls out a shank (I hope he sticks Alessi's dad).

That was quite a race. Stewart showed allot of grit stumbling back and continuing. I hope he can get his poop in a group and win out. Stewart and Reed are my favorites by a long shot. No offence to RV2.

OK since I have not won my own darn game yet and I have to do a snow angle I was thinking we should maybe change the point system. How about 1pt top ten 3 points for being next to your pick and 6 points for correct position. I am just wanting to change my mojo here no biggie if you guys want to stay as is.

One of my proudest moments as my son's dad was when he won a "Participation Trophy" at a horse show...it had "FIRST PLACE" on it....just like all the other little kids. My boy says, "Dad, this really doesn't mean I won....all the other kids got first place too. How can that be?" He wasn't very proud of it because everyone got the same award. Atta boy...... ;)

I thought it was cool that you flew down and watched Daytona......and although I'm glad that Villopoto gained some more points.....I was friggin' amazed with how Stewart cleaned out the cobwebs and took 8th. It would be like swan diving out of a first floor balcony onto your head....then try to find your bike while the rest of the field takes off....spot even the last place guy over a minute....and then chase down 12 of the fastest guys in the world in 17 laps.
I still can't believe he was making it over that camel back like that. SICK!!!

OK Mark get off the BIG LIB shat - I am pretty sure I still would not have won any with a different point system. I am not crying or looking for a participation trophy, I think you know me better than that?. I was just thinking it might be more fun to get more points for being close.

I am thinking of going. I had way too much fun being there all day (I ended up getting there at about 12:30 - beers @ 6ea. sucked). I am not planning on bringing the wife as she is a bit of a drag and requires attention - no offence to her just sayin....
I will not be submitting my picks until later - Jordan should have won w/Roczen and Alessi, Congrats to TDunn :cool:

Landed in Lansing at 2:30, went to the shop until 5:30 then to the gym, played 5 games of racquetball (lost 4), then home for the picture - "A mans gotta do"

I had a feeling that you would man-up. :cool: That type of integrity is lost with todays generation! I'll be at Oakland University coaching this weekend... otherwise I'd road trip with you. I'd even bring the duct tape.....you'd put it over my mouth until we hit Ft. Wayne, then I'd put it over yours till we got to Indy.

Fred, FYI MX girl 230& hubby Phil will be in Indy as will Eric Rosendall with his Squeeze & Nick Wey's Bro Luke who is Hookin them up for the race. Eric's Woman works with Nick's Bro at the Farm bureau office in Dewitt. Wish I could go, but I'm working on my Winter project of finishing off the basement with my son-in-law Brett B.
