just to keep you up to date on my latest project!
i few weeks ago i found a re-poed 02rm125 for sale. the bike has been siezed and was missing the entire top end and pipe. although its been thrashed, it seems in real good cond- i think the owner just rode it from new until it stopped. A quick call to our good friend eric, he went way out of his way to find me some parts so i went and bought the bike. A few weeks later and its nearly done, i have the last few parts arriving this week so the moment of truth (will it run) is coming close.
I should also at this point thank and acknowledge the people that helped me make this happen.
1. the Wife, she didnt go too mad when i bought it and even said i should keep the yz!
2. Eric Gorr, for hooking me up with a great cylinder at a great price. :worship:
3. Marcus Gunby, for taking me through the entire strip down of the showa forks and also the finer aspects of building 125's.
4. Rich Rohrich, for answering all of my silly little questions about his old RM project
5. steve-125, for discussions and help about building these 144's
the photos should follow.l
