I'd absolutely vote for an hour, at 45 minutes (for me anyways) I'm just getting warmed up - slow starter I guess. More is better!

They've been kind of pitiful - a one person 3 stooges.... if I don't kill the engine or knock myself down, I'll be happy.

Based on popular demand our club decided to extend the Women's race to 1 hour. This means that depending on lap your personal times you could be on the course for up to an hour and 15 minutes... expected temperatures for Sunday are now a high of 95. Bring your coolers!!!

Pierre, I sent you an e-mail about camping.

There are hotels on Sunrise Blvd. and Hazel Blvd. going east toward Prairie City on Hwy-50. Both are less than 15 minutes away from the park. If you have questions about camping and are from out of town, send me an e-mail at [email protected] I may be able to help.

I am so bummed.....

I work for a major electronics company and our department has been busting hump to get ready for a major application release. Despite my best efforts, I have to work this weekend and will not have Monday available for driving back to Portland, OR. I even passed on a Jimmy Buffet concert last night trying to get final work stuff done...but to no avail.

This kills me to have to do this at such a later hour - but we're going to have to pass on the FCHS. Susan ("The Ant") and I discussed her packing up and driving down herself.... but 600 miles each way on a tight time schedule .... is a real bear having to do it solo.

So we're going to have to cancel our plans. That means no riding w/ Pierre and Jen on Saturday....no racin' the FCHS on Sunday. Thankfully, the big app release is happening in October, so we will still be able to come down for the Elsinore Grand Prix in November as planned. (already entered....)

The only bright spot here is that our bikes and gear are *really* ready to go for a local trail ride on Saturday or Sunday. But we were so looking for to your race, Loco.... Hopefully, it will be such a massive success that you'll want to do it again next year.

Man, I am so depressed about this. :ugg:

But the job and the mortgage are calling...

Sincerely, - RandyB

Okay, it's official.

After doing a lot of soul searching about what's important in life -- I thought what the hell -- my world is not going to grind to a halt in 72 hours. :|

I went into work....slapped band-aids on three problems...delegated two others problems... Told the bad one that I would send him the stuff on Wednesday.... :debil:

And the rest? Well, crap.... I'll just have to figure that out on Tuesday, won't I... <griN>

So... We're coming!! :yeehaw:

And yes, it's for real. (Susan made me promise...<grin>)

See you guys at FCHS on Saturday noon/1pm-ish for a short, tune-up ride!

I don't have a green sticker on either bike but I am going to try to head out there around 9:30 and say I'm riding on the mx track. I know the girl that works the gate and hopefully she will ignore me when I sneak out into the park area. I'll be on my YZ. If you want I can meet you in the upper parking lot if all goes well. Otherwise I'll be stuck riding the MX track (not that that's a bad thing)

Jen, Pierre,
What time did you guys plan on arriving?

I don't know if you guys have already headed out or not, but I'll be down at the Hangtown track portion. I'll keep an eye out for a shiny new 450 ;)
