how to set up my odometer and get headlight to work

i just bought a 2002 ktm 200 exc i got the odometer on the bike and working but there's a black button on the right side of it and don't know what it does i thought it was a reset switch but when i press it nothing happens. also i put the headlight on and it doesn't seem to be working but it doesn't seemed to be damaged. any thoughts

Your headlight might be unplugged, or the bulb could be bad.

As far as the odometer thing, I've had my bike for four years, and I even have the manual, and I'm happy if it just tells me how fast I'm going. If I fiddle with it for a while I can figure it out.
