is 250cc too small for road?

I need a new bike after getting rid of my headache yamaha XT350. I don't have much choice in bikes around here with the cash i have but I have a pick of a few 4 stroke 225's and 250's. specifically a 2004 TTR225 and a 1998 KLR250, ive heard of overheating problems with smaller bikes, im 6'4" 210lbs, hopefully a 250 is big enough to move me too lol. btw I searched google to death about this.

the later model WR250R is a pretty good ride, but I think you'd be better served by something over 400 cc

Those are really small bikes for your size. Maybe you should look into an older (cheaper) XR400. They are reliable and low maintenance.
