why dont alot of 2 strokes not have kickstands? i guess because their not really made to thave them. dont need them while racing. but, why do they have to be so expensive. the cheapest one ive seen is $89.95 :yikes: where are omse good places to get them for cheaper?

MX bikes, 2 or 4 strokes generally don't come with kick stands, off-road bikes, 2 or 4 stroke usually do.

Here's the Mercedes of aftermarket kickstands: $149.

I know that in some places they are hard to come by, but if I am getting off of my bike and not near my truck, I find a tree. If it is an emergency, I turn off the gas while stopping and lay it against the steepest nearby embankment.

It would be interesting to know if a kickstand from a CRF could be modified to fit a late model CR? I use the tree method but have been places that I wish I had one.

The Promoto is sweet and the price only hurts once. The only problem found is that everyone else seems to think that my bike is their leaning post. :|
