Alright Tom Dixon, I turn my back for one second and your dissin me.
Had I known a GIANT was going to buy my bike I would have had Pro Circuit
put heavy duty springs in. I didnt know I had to remind you to change the fork oil. Oh ya keep picking on me and you will have a better chance of kissing a girl than ever riding my 200.

Dave Van Koevering and Rick Dolata will be at the clubgrounds this weekend to help with the trucks.  Jim Hunt may be up there, but may be working on Jack Pine issues.

Thanks to Fred T (and family), Derhntr, Tom Dixon (and chase) and the new guy - Captain Kev.  We got a lot of work done on Saturday.  We still have quite a bit to do yet.

If anyone can help next weekend, it will be appreciated.  We have three tasks that need to be completed - cutting of logs in the trail, riding two sections that we could not complete on Saturday and repair/replacement of signs.

I can not be there until Saturday night due to work, but Derhntr and Fred will be there on Saturday to coordinate our efforts.

Let us know your plans.

Yea we had fun today, traction was great. No dust utill after 2pm.
Now if I can just get over the KTM butt.

Kevin,
Great to meet and ride with you. Hope you enjoyed the ride. What time did you get back to the parking area? Fred and I got back about 3:30 or some. Just be glad you did not do the loop after we parted. 10 plus miles of nasty whoops. I was whipped.

I can help next weekend. Got a lot of honey do's done yesterday for the pass.

I dug out my chain saw, but it is leaking oil somewhere - can't find it. How do you guys secure the saw to your bike while riding? I was thinking of strapping a milk crate to the rear fender. Any ideas?

Will anyone be there Friday evening, or should I just shoot for Saturday morning?

You don't put a chainsaw on your bike. We use maps and trucks to get to them, we only have 3 trees to cut, we pulled off most of them by hand or used camp saws yesterday.

I will be there Sat morning and I can bring Erin if there is going to be someone hanging around the clubgrounds. You could bring Zack too.

I have a chain saw too.

Brian and Freddy,

Thanks for putting up with my Greeness. I was humbled yesterday, but had a blast on the Green DRZ, and am looking forward to more seat time and working out the sand. The bike saw the ground from both sides, the sun was out, the company was great................and I wasn't even too sore this morning.................a great day in all.
The section I rode had some wood down at around 2 miles and 3 1/2 miles from where I split off from you.
A hand saw should do the trick.
I am going to pick up a thirteen tooth front sprocket, and see if that helps a bit on the bottom end.

Thanks again,

Kevin

Mike:

If no one is going to be there kinda early on Sat, Smitdog (Bill) and I could go and finish that last loop Sat morning and take a camp saw and hack the trees Kevin found on the cutoff. (We can trailer the bikes out to there.) I know exactly what needs to be checked out and how to get there. So all that will be left is what you didn't get done on the West loops, the 3 trees and the billion signs to be changed. Depending on how many guys you get Sunday you should be able to get it all done. Maybe Brian and I can get some chain sawing done Sat afternoon too when he gets there, we know where to get the one big tree on the east loop.

If you want Brian, Bill and I can circle back to meet you where we parked Sat and ride together out to that tree. We can ride to it on the bikes and you can take the pick up and chainsaw.

Lemme know.

Fred, sounds like a good plan for Saturday morning.  I will not be at the clubgrounds until after dinner time on Saturday due to a work meeting.

I plan to call other club members (Jim Winters, Jim Hunt and Uncle Larry) to help this next weekend.  The more the merrier.  Is anyone planning to be in Moorestown for both Saturday and Sunday?

I know some of our club members (and fellow DRNers) will be attending the first Hare Scrambles this coming weekend in Portland.

I can stick around till Sunday to lend a hand if others will be up there. Heck, if I make the trip up, might as well make it a 2-day event!

I'd like to help out! Saturdays are out because of OT @ work. Is there going to be any work for Sunday? I grenade'ed my KDX Saturday after work. But I still have the XR. I split the cases and replaced everything that needed to be. Pressed everything back together today. Order a new piston set from FRP. Should be in by Wednesday. So hopefully I'll have it together for Sunday?

Mike.

Napper and I will be there Sat morning sometime. We'll check out the remaining hoops, er I mean loops like I said and if we have a trail saw we'll cut the trees out that Kevin found. I think Bill is going to be there then too so we'll bring him along if he is. I won't be bringing my kids this trip, but they will get 3 days riding at the Rites of spring the following weekend. :yeehaw:

Napper offered a 250 RFS to sell for Nate, thanks for letting him ride your 4 hunny. He want's one, but financing through "Bank-o-Dad" is tight right now with the RV on the way. :uh:

We may or may not see you before you get there as we are continuing our journey northward for some EE prototype testing sessions. Works a biotch! :moon:

Fred & Napper - Assuming that nobody will be there Friday evening, what time do you want to meet at the LMC grounds on Saturday? I need to know what time to leave my house Saturday morning...

Sounds like there will be enough chainsaws, so I will leave my oily one at home. Anything else special I could bring along?

I talked to some LMC club members (Jim Hunt, Larry S., and John Spence) who will be there Saturday to help with the maintenance.  We should have a couple of crews and the work will go much quicker.  I may be left with "sign work" on Sunday...I know you guys won't get that much work done!

THANKS for all of the help!!!

I'll let you know, I'll have to verify when Napper wants to meet me in Clare. MY guess would be we'll be at the Clubgrounds by 10 AM. Do you have a camp saw? I don't know where Mike put the one we used last weekend.

Fred,
I'll leave both saws on Mike's trailers steps. Unless you remember where the tree we found is in the Higgins loop, we may have to find it again. Was Kevin still with us when we found it?????

I be in the area all day on Friday, and should be at the club about 12 on Sat
