I'm going for the A class too, in MX that is:) Been training hard too, was out yesterday riding the pitbikes on the ice (even fot Fredette studded tires), drinking beer, and eating rice krispy's and oreo's!
Was on the ice saturday drinking green tea and eating some sliced smoked turkey and apples - No beer.

There was a great motard course set up this weekend!

I just love swapping cookie recieps on the ice :ride:

 Jeff. Congrats on your class wins.

Perhaps someday we will string together enough rides to advance to the coveted A class. Maybe our chances will improve with Matt, Kane, and Chase moving up.

That will be one stacked A sen. class! I will love checking out those race stat's.

Call PB. D11 can hook you up.
I'm thinking about moving back to "C" class as I only raced one race as a "C" rider so I figure - why not.

Do any of you guys know how long the AMA keeps records of what class you were in. In other words, can I ride the Senior B class if 20 years ago I rode 3-4 enduros as an A rider? I am looking to get back into riding enduros again and I would prefer to start out in the Senor B class. Not looking to just jump into the A class and take a beating.

Thanks

Do anything you feel comfortable with. The AMA is clueless. The Senior B class needs competition and welcome all "A" riders.

You must first petition the AMA to go back to B, This letter should include that you were an A rider but haven't ridden in 20 years or whatever, They will then have you go to the District you rode in. And they will go to the Enduro Chairman.
If they deem proper then you move back to B, starting at 50 pts toward your return to A class. If all works and then you spank all the B riders, the decision to move you back to A may come sooner.

Must be this has changed because I had let my AMA card lapse (12 years worth), when I went to renew, the lady asked whether or not I wanted my 'A' card back or would rather "start again" as a 'B' rider - maybe it depends how long since you've raced or perhaps the rules have changed, since my "renewal" was quite a few years ago now too. I was also asking for my original AMA number back but I doubt that this had any bearing on it.
