Thanks DW.

I'm just hoping that one day I'll be able to keep pace with the likes of you... :)

It's all good, though, I'm just having fun (and going as fast as I dare!).

Ah and the senior B saga continues on.....

"A" riders riding in the B class would seemingly impact all B riders. Most probably don't care; but, some may. It makes no difference to me anymore as it's just a part of racing.

Might want to enroll in Anger Management classes to witness how "they" handle stessfull situations, also study up on the "four letter word" vocabulary and how to string several of them words together. Hope you like carrot juice and scrambled eggs with broccoli......

thanks for the responses.

In my opinion the difference between an A and B rider is too subjective. I'm no fan of sandbagging, I would rather find myself in the bottom of the A class than to always win in the B class. Its just a piece of metal.....well, they use to be made out of metal, now trophies are plastic!

I think there are sandbaggers in every sport. I would love to see a "sandbagger rule" that defines exactly what constitutes a sandbagger.

Rule #1: Sandbaggers always say thank you when they pass you on the trail during a race!!
I know this for a fact. (You know who you are.)

I will probably be bumped to A class for 2010. From what figure, I already have 32 points. at a couple events, I was only 1 place away from getting advancement points. And with Matt and Kane being bumped to A, Ill probably get enough to get bumped. i just hope to get a Hi Point B at one race before that happens.

My definition of a sandbagger......someone that chooses to stay in a lower class and continually get high finishes when he could move to the next class up and finish in at least mid pack on a consistent basis

Pretty much describes everyone posting here. 4 exceptions, who are they?

sandbagger class = any class that allows up to 200cc 2 stroke (HS lites and any 200 Enduro) :rotfl:

OR

Any rider who owns a 200cc 2t :nener:

Does that answer your question, Mayor?

Do any of you guys know how long the AMA keeps records of what class you were in. In other words, can I ride the Senior B class if 20 years ago I rode 3-4 enduros as an A rider? I am looking to get back into riding enduros again and I would prefer to start out in the Senor B class. Not looking to just jump into the A class and take a beating.
Thanks

I will often have thoughts/opinions/ideas that do not always follow each other in the proper sequence. In this case I had a question, a thought, and then later a possible solution. There are few of us that are able to have a solution at the exact moment of contemplating or discussing an issue. I am of the majority that are unable to do this.

No, I didnt answer my own question, I simply gave an opinion after thinking about a issue.

I have an idea that based on your "cynicism", you have been accused of being a sandbagger. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.....eh?

You are wrong. Magoo is no sandbagger. You need to do your home work pal, before you make an accusation like that.

So sorry you're not one of the chosen ones.

LOL!
It just cracks me up when someone gets worked up about the obvious being pointed out to them. No worries, I've got your back and will be happy to help you out in the future, too!

Maybe I AM a sandbagger... but not racing.

Until the AMA or D14/D15 says I have a 100 advancement points I'm B for 2009. The only reason this would change is if a fellow D14/D15 rider personally approached me and said it's time to move up. Until then I'm going to enjoy a B Hi-point or two.

Petitioning to a lower class should be banished from the AMA rule book.

If you are referring to me getting "worked up", sorry but it takes a lot more than some guy named UPMagoo cutting and pasting my comments out of context to work me up. Since you are offering me your help to "have my back", let me help you as well. When you sit at the computer screen and view the comments about sandbagging, you should check your heart rate. If while viewing these comments, your BPM is above 100, you might have a problem. No, not your heart, its probably fine. Your problem could be your guilt of racing in the wrong class.

Keep in mind that I never accused you of sandbagging. Those comments were made by people that actually know you.
