My 78 Z50 pops and dies here is the details.
I pulled the carb apart cleaned everything, blew out all jets, etc.
Cleaned the tank out, replaced the inline fuel filter. After that it
seemed to running pretty good. After about 45 minutes of riding
around on a bumpy surface the bike started to pop and die when
accelerating to the point it would not run beyond idle or 1/4 throttle.
At that point I pulled the plug which seemed OK, I changed it anyway.
I also checked the float level which also seemed fine so it does not
appear to be a carb issue. After this I was able to get it running a
little better but it still would pop and die under any acceleration.
Could this be a lose ingnition part ?
Any help would be apprieciated.
