Today i rode for about an hour and a half on the MX track total. I case a lot of the jumps and my suspension is pretty stiff. After i come home, i can do anything, pick up my bike, run, ride a bike, whatever. Then by nighttime my lowerback and upper legs become extremely sore and stiff, i feel like the tinman, before dorothy came with the oil can. Its not fun, what kind of pre- and post race/ride exersizes should i do to prevent these pains?

I'm no Expert, but I would limit my Pre riding activities to stretching. As for post ride/race activities, dont exercise at all. Just relax, and give your muscles a chance to rebuild themselves for a day.

Lots of slow deep stretching..no bouncing. Then when not riding during week work out low back with situps for abs, back extensions, and squats for general legs and hip flexors:)

Hmm clearing jumps, and doing some stretches seems to work. I focused on warming up my back and legs before riding because that 2 hour drive puts them in a weak stiff state.
