Trailrider,Thanks for the great info. on the Rainbow Trail,I checked it out on my F.S.map and I plan on riding it this summer.I love those areas where you can camp and ride out of camp with out having to trailer the bikes.

You're welcome Dirt Dude. I forgot to mention that it is a multi-use trail. It's possible to see other traffic like hikers and horses. My last trip I ran into a bunch of students out for a hike. They were strung out over a 1/2 mile but after that I didn't see anyone else. You'll need to be sure you have plenty of fuel or carry extra as there is no place to get any. I need to get back up there and ride another section. Maybe this year when I make my yearly Rampart trip.
