me and my buddy just picked up a 91 yz125 for 1200$ and the front forks seem llike there is too much travel like it travels out past where it should top out and there is a weird noise when you pull it down i worried that it the brake line wasint there the forks would come out cause thats what seems to be holding it in so any help would be appricated thanks

Bushing hold the fork so it will not come apart, not the brake lines :).

The fork probably have too low of a oil level and might have bottom hard and broken the valve.

Disassembly and check the fork.
