I live on Vashon Island, WA. It's and island about 15min ferry ride from Seattle/10min ferry ride from Tacoma.

I turned 15 about 2 weeks ago and since I was signed up to take drivers ed (started yesterday) I was able to get my permit on my 15th birthday. Anyway my mom has an '89 Mitsubishi montero 4X4(she said she will be buying a new car between now and when I turn 16 and will give me the montero when she gets a new one). I wanted to know if some trails in the Seattle/Tacoma area. My mom said that she will trade cars with my dad for a a day so my dad and I can go off roading.

I am looking for a nice trail to drive on, nothing difficult just like a dirt road with lots of bump, mud and water. I don't want to be idling around at 5 MPH trying to negotiat a trail that is 1inch wider than my vehicle or trying to get up a steep rock hill. Also I don't have a winch, it has has all-terrain tires not mud-boggers.
Any suggestions, anywhere in the Seattle/ Tacoma Area!

Thanks,
Colin

Tahuya out near Belfair, Evans Creek near Wilkeson or Elbe Hills near Elbe. Tahuya is pretty tame in most spots but both Evans Creek and Elbe Hills can get pretty hardcore.

That would be Evans Creek.
