Thinking about getting back onto the "Sunday ride thing " again and have been looking around for cheap second hand bikes.

I've had 4 KDX 200's and a KTX 200 EXC, but never a Yam.
Today I saw a 95' WR 200 with a complete bottom and top end rebuild, still sitting on the workshop floor. Customer can't pay for it.

Can anyone give advice on this bike?

Thanks in advance.

I have a 92 wr200 and am happy with it. The only problem is there is no aftermarket, fmf makes pipes and silencers but that's it. You can get stock parts easily from yamaha but vary little aftemarket.

Very quiet in stock form, and moves fairly well. It is kind of deceiving as it feels sluggish at first. That said, I liked the bike (I had a kdx200 at the time) and if the price is good, would recommend it.
