Yet another Newb from Michigan

Hey Everyone, I just started riding dirt again this summer after about an 8-10 year break when my brother's bikes got too big for me. I just sold my CBR600 now I'm on a hunt for a new toy for the dirt. I'm on a KX100 now and battling the "I'm only 5'3" female who likes woods and MX- WHAT TO DO" monster trying to find just the right bike. This place is a wealth of information...keep up the good work moderators! :cool:

Be sure and go to your User CP and update information relating to your location, type of riding, etc. After that grab a spot on the couch and tell us a bit about yourself. How long you have been riding, what kind of riding you prefer, where you are located, etc.

Before you jump off and buy a bike you might want to check out the Bikes for the Ladies thread in the Women's Forum. Ask any questions that you might have and I am sure you will get all the answers that you will want. Some of the finest women in dirtbikes hang out in there daily.

FredT can also help with issues related to lowering a bike. He can be found in the Michigan Trail Riders forum for some folks in your area. These guys have written the book on how to make a local area forum work. There are guys in there that never come out into the main site!
