When cleaning the airfilter on my new to me (4000km) bike I noticed that charcoal from my canister was getting into my engine through the connection to the manifold between the carb and filter. I don't know how much made it in there but it could be quite a bit. No one I talk to seems to have heard of this before.
I'm afraid this may have caused permanent engine danage.
How abraisive is this stuff?
The engine smokes a little during warmup and stinks when idling, is this normal for a ktm 625?
I think that stupid canister was an afterthought to make the bike street legal in North America, and KTM didn't acount for the vibtarions of the big single.
