Is it Saturday yet?

Paragon weather

OK, here’s the deal with camping. Red Ridge Lake Campground will charge us $10 per person per night. I told him we'd have 10 to 15 people but more or less shouldn't be a problem. I reserved the same area that we had last year up behind the barn. When you check in tell them you are with DRN and they’ll show you where to go. Their web site is http://www.redridgelake.com/ for direction, etc.

2 weeks without being able to get into DRN....I was starting to have withdrawl. I will be there bright and early Saturday, and will be there both days. As of right now, the weathermen are saying showers for both days, with a high Sat of 68 and Sun 62. But we all know how acurate the weathermen are, so it will either be a beautiful day, or snowing.

But of COURSE we will hang out at the campground! Hotel rooms are for sleeping & showering. And watching SX on TV. It's the Ramada, so I would assume that they have cable. If ya'll wanta come into town for a bit o' R&R (Racing & Relaxing) on Saturday, fine by me! :thumb:

That would accurately describe two of the rides we've had at Paragon! One was snowing, one was absolutely beautiful.

In a way, it's better that they have showers in the forecast now...if they showed it was going to be sunny, THEN I'd be worried. :)

Jared finishes up wrestling season this weekend in Ohio, so we should have next weekend open. Santa brought him a 65 this year and he is chompin at the bit to get some riding time on it. Are there any others bringing kids?

Connor is betwix and between about going. Is Jared still riding that day? Connor says that he wants to go, but he'd like to stay in the sand pit area.

Doesnt matter PK, the SX is on tv sunday at noon. So unless the hotel has some special way of getting it live, you'll have to miss sundays riding if you want to see it. If by any chance its on saturday night let me know before friday and i'll bring my tv and satelite dish so we can all watch it at the campground.

The campground fee for the group area is $10 per night no matter how many people you have. We can claim to be a family of 5 and get it for $25 per night. Save each of us $5. :)

With all the rain we've been getting lately i dont think there will be any left by this weekend. Atleast that's what i'm hoping for. As for the cold it doesnt matter. I'll have my propane heater again. I'll just make sure i have enough propane to last both nights.

Got some BAD news.
Can't make Paragon this round.
For some reason I was thinking it was next weekend.
My kids are coming down, and I only get to see them every 6 weeks or so.
So the excuse is good this time.
I was so worked up for this ride so you can imagine when PK told me it was this weekend. My mouth hit the desk.
Since I will miss this one, why not another ride in August. I will free a weekend in august to make Paragon.
Well don't get tooooo muddy ok.
