All I see in this section is a bunch of Ford stuff. Am I the only Chevy man on the boards?

Maybe it's because we Chevy guys already know what we want!:p

What does everyone drive?

As for me, a '92 K1500 4x4 shortbox with a 350 (the Predmobile) and a '97 4wd Tahoe with the Vortec 350 (will run circles around the Predmobile!)

2001 S-10 ZR2
Dark blue
Before that it was a 2000 Extreme, very easy to load bikes into seeing that it has such a low tailgate and it was a blast to drive. My son and I got rear ended in it and we rolled 3 times in the median. We couldn't find another one fast enough, so that's why the ZR2.

I have a pair of Saab 9000 turbos. Saab is owned by Chevy, does that count?

Ok, I also have a real Chevy too. I restored a 87 chevy campervan that was all rusted to pieces. It's my boozecruiser/bikehauler/hotelroom all in one. :)

i was always a ford hater. i've had several chevy trucks, one toyota and one nissan. three years ago, i bought my first ford because i liked the new body style. i'm still not a ford man but it has been far and away my best truck-no comparison.

I drive a 98 4x4 Chevy (Z 71) with a 5.7 and 3.73 gears...fantastic driving truck with pretty darn good gas mileage for a V 8.

My wife drives a 96 Chevy Suburban 4 x 4 with a 5.7 and 3.73 gears...again, fantastic driving (like a Cadillac). Fairly good gas mileage too, considering the amount of weight the thing has built into it with all that extra sheetmetal. :scream:

Parts interchangability will be a plus in the future too as they get more miles on them. Got some thing to troubleshoot? Just remove and swap parts between the two until you solve the problem...these rigs are identical! Hopefully though they wont require this extra feature...so far, so good.

GM fans, anyway. Wife drives a 99 black Caddy Escalde. I drove a 99 3/4 ton 4x4 loaded GMC suburban up until a month ago. I now drive an 01 Chevy SB CC LT 4x4 2500HD Durmax Diesel/Allison 5 speed auto pickup. Awesome truck. Long line of GM products behind those.

Our everyday commuter is a 95 Toyota Corolla, though. I've had such good luck with Toyota's. And the 33mpg all around is easy to take with gas prices being what they are! We have a Dorf 460/chassis in our '95 Class C motorhome and it sucks. Only 38k on it and it's caused me more problems than my last 5 vehicles combined. The 6th back was a Dorf Explorer my wife owned when we got married. It also cost us more money in repairs than any of my GM's. YMMV.

89 Chevy C-1500, 350 V-8. Maroon over dusty rose. (Truckzilla goes with my German Shepard, Dogzilla and my CJ-5 Jeepzilla)

Color matched topper. 12 years old and still pulls Vail pass at 80 mph with a bike trailer.

Looking hard at the new Chevy diesel

sorry, didn't come out the way I intended- you know- Saab owners are always a little bit "different". You've shown us that you're definately a bit more "colorful" than most on DRN. The "boozecruiser" thing just tickeld me and I figured it fit the profile. You don't by any chance have a ponytail, do ya?:p

Just kidding, man. :D Sorry, I'm not making much sense these days. I gotta get a real bike!:o
