Zio,The Nissan Quest & Mercury Villager are both assembled at F.M.C. Avon Lake,Ohio plant.They share the exact same components,Ford mainly assembles the "subassemblies" from Nissan Japan/USA. The Quest & Villager have the Nissan drive train,transaxcel, and Nissan produced body panels.The Quest won't be around after 2002.

thanks, I did know about the drivetrain & related bits, and am still happy about that. just bummed on the rest of the package. oh well. my fault. Now let's drop this thing, so I can forget about it & be thankful that I'm able to drive a car. :)

boy zio did you start a fire, to bad it wasn't under that FORD TRUCK!your are an insurance agent.your coverd LOL. just bought a chevy 01 2500hd 4x4 with 8.1 under hood and love it.say hello to clovis for me lived there years ago.
