Is it just me or did Thain ram Preston after the race and not Gosselar? I missed it the first time but look at the numbers. Preston and Gosselar have identical equipment so did Thain get mixed up in his anger and hit the wrong guy? Preston wins and then is in his victory circle when along comes Thain.

Short and sweet... NO. Give us some real colors with designs that don't make you look like a rapper out of his element.

I give the kid credit... gutsy gear to be wearing. You won't catch me wearing it. I'm not fast, gutsy or wanting to hit someone for slamming my gear ;)

Now the Red/White?Blue Fox stuff Ricky was wearing? Sign me-up.

Funny how old greasy cover-alls look good if you can come from dead last to the front of the pack.

RC wasn't riding over his head. Hell he proved that last year and at the US Open. He took the inside over that step-up to keep LaRacco from being able to get the inside through the whoops. He did that same thing in practice and crashed in the exact same spot.
I still have my "Pink" AXO pants, albeit the don't fit anymore! LOL!!

I think Travis has a good a chance as anyone to take the whole thing. If you include his heat race he had the fastest lap of the event.

Dont get me wrong. I really like Travis. That kid has some nads on him.

He seems like a nice guy too! I hope he can pull it off. I really like his FMX stuff too though. So either way I am a fan!

LaRocco's always going to be up front to snag top positions when odd things happen in races, like RC getting completely eliminated from the race;) & MC getting armpump so bad he can't hold on to the bars or turn the throttle.

I wish LaRocco would win the whole season, damnit. But I really don't think he's gonna do it. He just doesn't have the speed to match RC or MC on those days when either is going effing "out of control" fast. Or, perhaps, maybe he'll be in the hunt at the end because of his consistency. But would you really bet on him vs. RC, if RC was in top form?

With Ricky in top form, I would not bet on any one else. But I believe that Larocco has the speed to run with Ricky, maybe not beat him. But with Larocco's consistency, maybe all Ricky has to do is beat himself like he did at Anahiem. ;)

This is from www.pacesupercross.com:
McGrath missed an opportunity to open a comfortable series points lead over his rival Carmichael. He suffered a mid pack start and just couldn’t get a charge going, running between 9th and 16th for the whole race. After the main his manager Larry Brooks just said they knew what went wrong and would be ready for next week.
Bike trouble? :think

BIKE TROUBLE??? I would say that it had to be something unusual like bike problems, Jeremy even on his worst day doesn't ride like that. With RC out (possibly) for week 2, there is no doubt that MC will show up this weekend with some major-league motivation. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!

preston

i have a new found favorite rider....travis preston.

That guy is bad ass. Like someone said before, he said to ABC that he never knows what place hes in, he just rides around. but at the actual race interview he was halarious. jamie little asked him if he was happy, and he said the same thing to her about " i never know what place im in, i just ride around like an idiot, and i don't really care" then she asked if he had heard all the people cheering for him... he replies

preston-"no, what are you talking about, they weren't cheering for me"
Little- "why do you say that"
Preston- "nobody likes me, i never get asked for autographs, or anything, no one likes me and they know it"

i don't know if thats exactly what he said but it was pretty close, anyone who was at the race and heard that knows how funny it was. thats the first time i have heard someone make fun of the announcers, usually they just talk about how the crowd was so great and how they got a good start. i thought it was pretty origonal.

My thoughts

1. Pastrana didn't "crash out" someone, i think fonz, ripped his front wheel up with a footpeg. There was a picture posted on some other site of the wheel up close. I would say 4 or 5 spokes ripped out and a couple of them started winding around the hub. Once they wound as far as they could go, the front wheel locked up and he pulled off.

2. MC, i don't know what to say. He looked awful, but i have to think it was a bike problem. The main reason is because instead of loading the bikes into the "Bud Light" semi, they went straight to the factoty Yamaha rig. Supposedly this was so Skip could go fix them at the factory shop...had to be something wrong with the bike.

3. RC, over the edge. It was a matter of time before he went down that night. He was swapping through the whoops on every lap and in other places too. He looked like the RC from 2000.

4. Bubba, freakin fast. My money is he will become the youngest SX winner. Pink/Fuscia? I think they should just call it bubbalicious like on his pants...

The only thing that has me questioning bike problems for MC is that he get straight up beat by Larroco and Pastrana in his heat. If they were bike problems in the heat I would think that Yamaha would have had time to work the issues out by the main. Hmmm. Whatever it was MC was not riding to his potential.

Fuchia shumcaia! It's the kind of color that only looks good leading a race. (Of course if your leading everything is good.) Wear it any where else and you have a lot of explaining to do.:o

Wonder if No Fear will come out with that color soon?

Pretty soon you guys are going to start using words like eggplant, mauve, eggshell and chartruese.

I thought I'd stumbled into either an interior decorating forum or an episode of Will and Grace. :p
