I was very impressed with both the fit and finish of the exhaust when I received it. The unit is very solid and FMF promised a quiet unit, which I considered to be very important.
Installation on my XR650R was very straightforward and within only a few minutes I was ready to fire it up and see what the resulting sound would be. There were only two bolts and one clamp necessary to complete the installation.
I must say that I was and continue to be pleasantly surprised by the sound level of the exhaust. I replaced a stock unit that had been modified by the previous owner and I consider the new exhaust a huge improvement.
