2nd Annual Clear Creek New Years Ride

I will probably roll into Oak Slope shortly before midnight Monday.
White 94 Chevy Silverado Diesel w/matching white (w/purple seat :thumb: ) 94 KTM 440 in back.

My niece's boyfriend, Jason, may ride with us. He is the person who does the map work for the BLM. He gets "lost" pretty easy. :silly:

It looks like everybody's riding Tuesday at least. I'll try to roll in with my Flaming Purple Kaw by 9am and see if I can tough it out in the back of my truck that night. It's gonna be cooooold...

Wait a second. If I remember Mick was the last one out of his cocoon at the Bearfoot. He wasn't about to get up until Tea was a brewing, his motorcycle was already warming up (thanks to his mechanic :debil: ) breakfast was on the table, his gear laid out and pre-warmed , and the campfire was going. :p

I'm WAY excited about this trip. I'm going to be coming up Monday some time, does not look like I can get completely out of work on Monday, but I will just go in early for a few hours then hit the road. Karna, I'm going to need really good directions to Oak Flat.

I should be there by 1 pm or so. Black Chevy Pickup, Katoom in the back. Big smile on face.

By the way, Karna and I are still working on the menu for New Year's Eve dinner and all you ALL need to bring is appetite and eating utensils. I may need to borrow one more grill from one of you.

I can't wait to see everyone again and to meet all the new faces!!!

Well, we had been kind of waiting for the formal invitation from you..... :think:
Buddy is the king of camping, so he usually decides menu for our camping dinner, and I have no authority. :ugg: I'm still disappointed I was so full that I couldn't taste your wonderful looking spinich salad at the Bearfoot.
This time we are sure to be ready and really looking forward to your famous food. The menu looks wonderful!

We have gas stove, if that works. Or charcoal grill?

Damn, too bad I'll miss that menu. Here's whats on the Sunday night ruffin it menu:

1. Slightly toasted over propane, Safeway Hoagie with essence of mustard and mayo.
2. Golden propane roasted Kentucky fried chicken with a smattering of bbq sauce.
3. Chips and salsa
4. zoom zooms and wham whams.

Pierre and I are latecomers to the conversation! We are so great at keeping up with DRN! Karna, Natalie etc. , please count us in! We plan to come down early Tuesday morning weather permitting and will be ready for the 9am + ride. Karna are you still planning on riding at 9:30?

Natalie, regarding New Year's eve dinner, what can Pierre and I bring?

We are looking forward to seeing and riding with all of you again!

Yep, Pierre and I are planning on heading down super early Tues morning to be ready for whatever time the ride is planned... or we will head down late Monday night after work.... meaning that we will probably stay in the nearest motel... wherever that is... We have a greyish Toyota Tundra pick up.

Like Mini we are a bit concerned about the weather... We rode at Hollister today with Mick and Belinda and had a beautiful morning ride...the heavy downpours.. hail included put a halt on our afternoon itinerary.
