Can't wait to see the clips scooter!!! The 2 guys I went with had never been to Paragon before and were pretty happy with the whole deal. Paragon has made improvements and the trails scooter guided us through were perfect. Some of the singletrack on the first ride were tops. Mike went down pretty hard on the pipeline (I almost ran him over) and has a goodly size bruise to show for it. Honestly I was just glad to see him move around and groan after seeing how hard he hit the ground.

We found a really nice spot to camp at Red Ridge and the whole trip was topnotch. It was great seeing some old friends and also meeting new ones. We had a great bunch!!! Once again special thanks to scooter for the guidework, and to everyone else for the ride.

I'll be posting a few pics later on as well.

Thanks! I've had alot of fun up there with the WJ.. I love it. Unfortunately, due to some unfortunate circumstances, it is for sale as of last week :(

I'll be very sad to see it go, but other financial priorities are standing in my way of keeping it. I'll be back though! Once a wheeler, always a wheeler! (Same goes for dirtbikes I think!!!!)

Thanks again!

I guess we can see that Mike's (not so new anymore) helmet did its job.

Jason, if I get to Paragon this week, it will be a trail marking day......there is still a lot of trail marking to do at Paragon.   But with the business transferring next week, and leaving for Dirtweek Wednesday, I'm not sure if I will be able to make it to Paragon.

Not to mention "Trail unmarking day" too. I have a bunch of friends coming down this Saturday and warned them that the Moonshine Enduro orange arrows are still up and they point in the opposite direction from the Paragon arrows

Dave,  I think we are going to leave the orange arrows, and remove the green ones to reverse the trail.....then we won't have to go through this every year.

So which direction do we ride then? I'm assuming we follow the green arrows until further notice. Are they telling people at the office when they sign up?

I think they should make it one way on Sat and the other on Sunday, the single track is so cool, you need to ride it both ways :) . Awwwe shoot, now we cant get pics of Dave looping out up that one hill as we will have to go down it.
Hey Dan so few people run the single track anyway its not to big a deal to run it either way. The only thing is if its reversed this weekend Im not sure where to start riding it at?????

You don't have to worry Dave, that hill you love so much is still marked as an uphill, with both the Orange, and green arrows.

quote scooter "I think you forgot to count yourself"

my reply "uh huh counting myself i had 9, but on the trail i counted 10.
see its that Cam 2/Klotz buzz im working on. the 2stroke to 4stroke ratio was 40% rich even by 2cycle standards.
pictures dont do that terrain justice.
good timing on the pictures 1/100th later and you could have read my boot size."

Hey RedWing glad you could make it. Made me not feel as bad about being the slow spode !

KTM with CRD parts :thumb:

You got a load of Chief and his abusive buddies who could'nt sit still and kept running off and trying stuff while they were waiting for us to catch up.

At least you have an excuse 350lb bike with a 165lb rider/

Had a blast, but realise I have a long way to go to keep up with these guys. TreeJumper and Nate were the 2 who watched over us all day.

Hopefully we'll see you some time after Dirtweek is over. Nice meeting you ( this time ).
