So far we are going up Friday night probably arrive around 7pm. Oh I take that back, my daughter just told me that she is not at school Friday and my wife said she will take my son out early if I get off work early. DONE. So we should be arriving any time between 4 and 6. Hour and a half drive so depending on my Bud Phil and how large his entourage gets and how organized they get in 6 days that is what time we expect to get there. Fishing rods included.

So is your luck fishing better than your luck riding? Hope so then we might get a nice fish dinner. ;)

IF YOU ARE GOING TO CAMP, PLEASE EMAIL ME AT [email protected] OR CALL ME AT 484-239-6187 BEFORE THURSDAY SO i CAN GIVE A HEAD COUNT TO THE CAMPGROUND OWNER.

When you arrive at the campground you will tell them you are with "DIRT RIDER ONLINE" and you will receive a special rate. The contact person is Raymond, he is the owner. No reservations are needed but if it makes you feel better, go ahead. He told me $10.00 per night per person. Treat the place like it is your own and we will be welcomed back like last year. Thanks.

Well Sally, looks like I'm going to have to find some more hills for you to flounder on.

As for Nancy, he (she) is all excited about sleeping with Trigger! :scream:

Oh and Tree jumper, save the girly-girl stuff for when you're trolling the high schools! :moon:

Yes, Mrs. Woods, Jr. Woods and myself are staying in a motel. I wouldn't want my son hanging around all you riff-raff. You all know how impressionable young minds are.

Impressed??? He told me he soiled his shorts and creamed his jeans.

I've been practicing my Parking Lot-Superman-Seat Grab to Indian Air to Hart Attack all winter... of course it looks a lot like some doofus low-siding on the ice, but what can I say. Of course I really wanted to have my backflip perfected, but we ran off the member who was giving me all the hot tips. :scream:

I know that trigger posted some simple rules for paragon, but thought I would post the park rules for those who have never been there before, and some who didn't read them last time  .......pay close attention to rules 10, 11 & 16

And for the nancy's out there who are affraid of a little adventure, if you want a trail map, I suggest printing it from here http://paragonap.com/trailmaps.htm this map is color and easier to read than the black and white maps available at the park.

Also Turtle Trail (#7) has changed since last year. It is now one way, it is downhill only before 12:00 and uphill only after 12:00

1. All participants to the park must check in and check out. A driver’s license or credit card may be held to ensure proper check out procedures.

2. (SUVs and ATVs) All participants must display an orange safety flag. SUV’s must have the flag at least one foot above the highest point of the vehicle. ATV’s must have the flag at least one foot above the helmet while standing on the foot-pegs.

3. All SUV participants must wear the provided PAP wristband on their left wrist. All ATV’s and Motorbikes must have the provided PAP wristband displayed loosely around the handlebars.

4. (SUVs) Seatbelts must be worn at all times while driving on PAP grounds. Infants through children age three, must be properly restrained in an appropriate child safety seat.

5. No alcohol, illegal drugs, firearms, or weapons are allowed on PAP property. No person may be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substances that may hinder thinking ability or reaction time. Coolers will be checked prior to entering the park.

6.(SUVs) All vehicles must be insured.

7. All SUV drivers must hold a valid drivers license.

8. All SUV’s must have at least one tow point (example: tow hook or receiver hitch). Front and rear tow points are mandatory for higher rated trails.

9. All SUV’s must have the following: proper roll-over protection, full size spare tire (or tire large enough to get you out of the park), battery tie down (no bungee cords), seatbelts, tow point(s), trash bag for liquid spills, tow strap (within their group), flag, wristband.

10. Speed limit for everyone is 15 mph in the parking areas and on all main and two-way roads. This is strictly enforced. All vehicles/machines must be in control at all times.

11. Parking lot is for parking. No tricks or horseplay. Please do not cause commotion or damage to other vehicles.

12. Please be courteous to oncoming traffic. Practicality dictates that the vehicle(s) that can pull over with the least amount of difficulty should do so.

13. Please respect proper trail etiquette.

14. Do not block a trail.

15. All participants must stay on designated trails and follow directional signs. All participants must remain with their designated group. Anyone found by alone will be in violation of this rule.

16. Travel only where motorized vehicles are permitted. Trailhead signs show the appropriate vehicle allowed on a trail. Do not blaze a trail.

17. Cross streams only at designated crossings. Avoid lake and swamp areas.

18. No disorderly conduct; No littering; No tobacco products may be deposited on PAP Property (Cigarette Butts, Cigars, Chewing Tobacco, etc…).

19. ATV/Motorbikes must follow all OEM recommendations (helmet, single rider, age, etc.). Helmets must be worn AT ALL TIMES when machine is in motion. No tear-off goggles permitted.

20. Age of a rider is determined by the manufacturers suggested age limit. Only exceptions are DCNR certificate holders.

21. Everyone must stay in Paragon Adventure ParkSM Property.

22. Everyone must stay on the appropriate level trails suited for your vehicle/machine requirements and driver ability.

Paragon Adventure ParkSM is not required nor should be expected to recover, repair or escort non-emergencies out of the park. Please have a way to get yourself out of the park if you are broken. Paragon staff, if able to do so, will do their best to offer assistance.

EVERYONE MUST RESPECT THE RIGHTS OF OTHER USERS SO THEY MIGHT ENJOY ACTIVITIES UNDISTURBED. DRIVE RESPONSIBLY TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT AND PRESERVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY YOUR VEHICLE/MACHINE ON THE LAND.

THESE RULES ARE TAKEN VERY SERIOUSLY. Participants that disregard the rules of PAP, or pose a safety threat to themselves or others will, at a minimum, be ejected from the park without a refund and may be suspended from future visits to PAP.

Yep, it would be innappropriate I'm sure. Back to the weather. Now they are calling for showers Friday with Thunderstorms late evening and showers Saturday along with frigid temperatures early morning. The wife called and said we should bag the whole weekend. :whiner:

I told her that Camping may not be the right idea now and if she wanted to bag Friday night camping and Saturday riding I would go along but we should wait until Thursday morning until we make a decision. Back up plan is and my bud agrees we come up Saturday around 6pm and stay overnight at a Hotel / Motel and ride Sunday. Still have to swing the wife and only the weather will do that. :ugg:

I HOPE THE WEATHER CHANGES, I WANT BOTH DAYS !
