New pipe before= buy new pipe after

Old pipe no workie!!!

I can't believe the thing was still running at the end of the last race. The neck was pinched to about half its normal size. :yikes:

Maybe I'll just have to have a steady stream of new pipes on order to support my new habit (Enduros).

Wolverine-Harrison was my first enduro. The long drive for a little trail ride (Loose Moose) seems a bit much, wouldn't even have time to get it dirty. Now if it were a two or three day event :ride: :yikes: Have fun, be safe. :coocoo:

After the Moose, you will feel like you rode a two day event.... I'm driving 8 hours... it is worth it.

TCtrailrider,
After Loose Moose, Wolverine/Harrison will seem like a warm up ride! We are driving 11 hrs. from Ohio. Marquette was ranked in Fred Andrews Top 10 riding in the Nation in an old Dirt Rider magazine article.

Has anyone heard yet why the change in format? Magoo, any help?

Smit-Dog, That C note will be on the ground right after a HUGH G log crossing. I'll be waiting, and I'll be choosie.

fatherandson, team PTP applications recieved; however, your row requests of 34, 33, 31 were not available, I got you all set up on row 1 (that's one). Maybe you didn't hear that team GWG is growing and filled up row 30 through 35. That's 4 and 1/2 yooper hotties

Heh, TC Trailrider should stick to the easy trails... :p

For this year, we went to the restart format due to the fact we needed to do some major re-routing due to loss of some area because of logging and mining. Also, it is believed (by some) that the restart format is more popular with the riders, and we would get a better turnout for the event.

If Team GWG is on row 30-35, row 36 would suck! No room to pass on the mountain. One GWG on each minute will be rubbing trees on both sides of the trail.

A quick note on the race.
It was as hot and as brutal as you have heard it was going to be. I know it was a National but the Sandstormer club gets off on trying to hurt people! I finished and that is an accomplishment.

Had to make a trip to the Marquette hospital to pick up Tom Dixon he crashed and now is a member of the broken collarbone club, he also hurt his wrist. He has orientation at MSU today, the drugs should help his attention span!

I hope that comment is tongue in cheek! We do put on an event that is very technical, and we work very hard to mark the course to warn of unusual obstacles, etc. Unfortunately we have no control over the weather, and that made it more challenging. It was a tough event, no question!

Vrey true! My hat is off to everyone that rode the event, if they finished or not! If you finished, you should be very proud!

Give my best to Tom! I came across him when I left my check -- he was already being assisted by the paramedics, so I knew he'd be all right.

Great job Don - the tougher it is the better you are!
Well this chump got tired and overheated and did not finish.
Those rocky hill climbs and 93 degree temps got the best of me.
Farmer Tom I hope you are ok! I broke my cb when I was your age.
Just give it time to heal. Mine healed fine and gives me no trouble.

This was a TRUE ENDURO. The toughest event I have ridden in many years. I was warned before the race that the B riders would be challenged - VERY true. I had to ride through the first two resets with no break and carried points over into the next section. Not to be whiner, but those resets could have been longer.
As I B rider I only rode 54 miles (it felt like a lot more), but when I saw two A riders refuse to ride their last section I felt better. The heat did not help matters and I went into survival mode very early in order to finish the event.
This was a NATIONAL enduro and it was challenging. I was very happy to see the club allowed the C riders (the future A riders of the enduros) to bypass most of the mountain section.
I know the top 10 results are posted on MidwestEnduros.com. Michigan had four of the top 10 riders (Lykke, Bersano, Gault, and Keen).

Mike did you miss a right turn {about 3 mile out} that brought you out to the main road only to turn left following arrows back to the pit area?
