Insider selling at highest rate since Argus Vickers started to track it in 1971.

Anybody know how to trade KTM?

Try calling corporate.

KTM East Office
1119 Milan Avenue
Amherst, Ohio 44001

They can tell you if the company is publicly traded or not. I don't think it is. But if it is, any stock broker can get you hooked up.

Are the rats running off the ship? Or are they merely locking in their options after the bloodbath of 2000?

I'm not too concerned.

Time in the market can also lose you everything you have. Most small investers depend on stockbrokers, blind luck or mutual funds to make money in the market which is the reason most small investers end up with little or no return on there money. I dont try to time or play the market but I also do not buy stocks and hold them for any lenth of time. I do a lot of research on the co. whose stock I am going to buy then I decide what price I am going to pay for the stock and what price I am going to sell it at. I do not get attached to stocks some I may only keep a few weeks some I will keep for as long as 6 months but I watch them everyday. I also use buy and sells. If I have a stock that drops 10 % below its purchase price it is automatically sold this way you limit your exposer to risk at 10% of the value of your portfolio at any given time. If a stock goes up 30% in a short run I will usually sell it. These are some strategies that have worked for me in the past. The stockmarket is basically just a huge casino in the end you pays your money and you takes your chances. But do not sit by while some stockbroker keeps telling you it will come back ,look at all the people who lost fortunes in companies like enron, worldcom, tyco ,at&t and the mutual fund scam. Do your own research and make your own decisions based on what your goals and expexctations are.

I must have made a hundred or more profitable trades since this indicator was 0. I am still trying to find a way to put it to use. I guess when it hits 10...buy all I can??

As I've mentioned several times, the model is not intended to be a precision timing indicator. It can be very useful to a long term investor. Lighten up when relative risk is high, load up when it's low.

There is always money to be made.

I learned that KTM Sportscycles AG trades on the Vienna exchange.

No luck finding charts on Worden or Big Charts, or various other services.

With the surge going on at KTM, it reminds me a little of the hog surge at harley years ago. Love to get a look at the chart.

That is a very good approach. Too many people have no parameters. But and hold is OK sometimes. But a managed portfolio *should* outperform.

I'm not going to update again until there's some change.

OOF! Today's technical market report shows all indices NEGATIVE. Last week's report was only 2 out of 7 negative.

Scrutinize any new purchases VERY closely. Evaluate current holdings. Might be a good time to lock in profits and/or weed out the dead wood.

Virtually neutral, but the best reading in more than a year.

Interesting. To me, at least. :)

My technical report has says that the market is pretty oversold and risk is low. But then that's technical analysis. Given the geopolitical climate, anything goes. Right now I'm back to 90% cash. Too many terrorists, we're heading into Sept. and Oct., and it's an election year. There really isn't much upside potential but I think the downside potential is huge. I'm going to wait the election out, then get back in.
