Man, you are walking on thin ice there. I once saw Young Ted pour a can of whoop-azz on a fellar who attempted a game of rum cake one-upmanship. It wasn't a pretty site. I am not sure if the doctors ever found Ted's right Hipoint. As a result, he had to buy a new pair of boots.

;)

Oops, I spoke too soon - the recipe for the rum-cake is lost. Young Ted should and will prevail. :worship:

I should have listened to Badgerman - "Oh, don't waste your time baking a rum cake either"

Hey Mike,
All I Know Is I'm Going To Be Up Front Again Going At It With You And Jeff. That Was Such A Blast Last Year. If I Wouldn't Have Backed Off When Jeff Slipped In Front Of You They Probably Would Be Calling Me T-bone, But I Don't Play That Way, I Hate Pain And Broken Bones/bikes. We Have Lot's Of Extra Room Down By Us, If Anyone Is Interested And I Know Matt O's Trailer Will Be Empty. Just A Thought. Have Mike Sr. Put A Good Word In For The Weather, Last Year Was Awesome!!!! See-ya At Jack-pine.

Careful what you wish for, T-bone's been eating go fast pills or something this year. Fastest way to the finish is a straight line. I'd rather be behind him.

I guess da upper missed the hurricane comment...eh?

I didn't miss it!!! It is just to early for me to start planning that far ahead.

To be honest, I don't even know what Trailfest is, but if it's riding and riding someplace new... I am definitely interested.

I will check back on this post, or send me a PM sometime and keep me informed.

I would like to see you, Fred and the guys again too. It would be a blast.

It's an organized trail ride at Jackpine Lodge in Moorsetown MI. (Off M 55 north on 7 mile road and left on Johnson rd 1/4 mile) The fees help cover the insurance and permits we need to get for the size of the group and sometime the "Special" trail we are able to ride that is not just ORV stuff. We work with the DNR to make new trail for the state trail system and use our races and trail rides to run it in before marking it for the public. We have a pot luck cookout after the ride and bench racing and beer drinking. It's in October.

Mike - Good date choice. The following weekend is the Reunion Ride and it usually rains too.

Tim - Thanks for the boot story. It drew a good laugh on this end. The rum cake was skipped last year, so it will be back on the schedule this year. The 'secret' is in the hands, as with all cooking.

As I recall, I recovered quite well from that digger display. I had quite an audience too. I need to stop doing that....

Are we talking about the unfortunate Kalkaska Wheelie event?

The application for the permit is $50 and needs to go in next week. I have the application completed and need to attach a map of the trail. Once the DNR has inspected the map, they will tell me the cost of the permit. Based on my experience of our other events this year, the cost of the permit will be MORE this year.

I know this thread has bounced around a lot, but I plan on being there this year, so count me in. I will have the mighty 360 on deck. I am sure we will hear more soon.
Just wanted to say, hey, count me in...thanks...Jim
