Just as bad are people who don't merge in when you give them a chance (typically during rush hour, and they're thinking they can get in about 10 cars ahead so they keep going up the shoulder). I give 'em one chance, that's it. Then, I don't care if they're gonna pull a Toonces off the cliff, they ain't gettin' in. Greedy jerks.
Heck no, “California stops” only work at stop signs. ;)Originally posted by a454elk
We need MORE traffic lights here, people just don't get the stop sign thing!:)

And car pool lanes need at least 2 people, HELLO!! that's you AND SOMEONE ELSE.
I've always held the belief that women who buy cars should save themselves some money by deleting the turn signals and the rear view mirrors. They don't use 'em anyway. :pThe lovely and demure gospeedracer said:
Turn signals are there for a reason people. They are there to indicate your intent to make a turn as to warn others.

Let me ask you this...if the guy speeds up, why do you still feel the need to pass?

Jaybird - some good points but most places I have been (in medium to heavy traffic) if you leave even 20 feet between you and the car in front of you, some jerk just weaves in front of you and there goes your safety barrier yet again. Try leaving 6 car lengths of space (at 60 mph) near any city I've been around and all you get is frustration. Its impossible.
Jimics that may be good in light to no traffic, where everyone is spread out, but in heavy traffic that is the worst thing you could do. If you do this in medium to heavy traffic YOU are the one causing much of the traffic.
